San Francisco Beekeepers Association
October 8- Monthly Meeting - Final Colony Preparations for Winter
Randall Museum 7:30 PM
At this meeting, we will discuss what you should be seeing by way of the preparations your honey bee colonies are and should be making for our mild winter months, and what steps you may take to help them with these preparations. There are variations, of course, depending on the microclimate where you keep your bees. In some parts of San Francisco and environs, there can be a strong nectar flow through mid-October.
