Along with my fruit trees, I've planted salad greens. I'm still not sure what fall and winter mean here, as October is one of the nicest, sunniest months in Sausalito, but at night the tempratures start dropping and it feels like autumn. So I've planted a mix of warm and cold weather greens. Some red and green leaf lettuce, romaine, mache, kale, blood beets, arugula and rainbow chard. From seeds indoors, I'm going to start a batch for cooler weather that includes of kale, endive, arugula, mizuna mustard, and spinach.
